Board of Directors
 | Tim Pellissier - President (Division 1) 
Mr. Pellisier is the managing partner of Pellissier Farms, one of the largest farming operations in the District, which grows almonds, cotton, alfalfa, and corn.  First elected to the Board in November 1991 for Division 3, Mr. Pellissier resigned in March 2005 to comply with a change of residency requirements.  Mr. Pellissier was re-elected for Division 1 in fall 2005 and his current term expires in December 2009.
|   | Jack Hooper - Vice-President and Secretary (Division 3) 
Mr. Hooper is a past president of the Merced County Farm Bureau and has been a director of the California Canning Peach Association and the California Tomato Growers Association. Mr. Hooper has actively managed farm properties and now operates several agricultural produce grading stations in California. Mr. Hooper holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley. First elected to the Board in November 1989, his current term expires in December 2009.

  | Gino Pedretti - Director (Division 2) 
Mr. Pedretti and his family own and operate a dairy operation, Pedretti Ranches in Merced County.  Mr. Pedretti was appointed to the Board of Directors in March 2005 to fill the unexpired term of Mr. Tim Pellisier who resigned to comply with change of residence requirements.  Mr. Pedretti served 38 years as a Director of the El Nido Irrigation District which was recently consolidated into the Merced Irrigation District.  His current term expires in December 2011.
|   | Suzy Hultgren - Director (Division 4) 
Ms. Hultgren is a life-long Merced County rancher, and dairy operator with a family ranching history in Merced County reaching back to the early 20th century.  Over the past several years, she has converted the Hultgren dairy to an organic operation   Ms. Hultgren is very active in the agricultural community, a member of the California Women for Agriculture, and the California Farm  Bureau.  Ms. Hultgren was elected to the Board in 2007 and her term expires in December 2011.

 | Wil Hunter - Director (Division 5) 
Mr. Hunter is a first generation almond farmer and has been in the farming business since the 1970s.   Mr. Hunter owns and operates Hunter Farms with over 1,400 acres of almond trees in eastern Merced County.  Prior to entering the farming business, Mr. Hunter operated a family manufacturing business in Southern California.  Mr. Hunter is a Director on the California Almond Board and a member of the Greater Merced Chamber of Commerce and Merced Boosters.  Mr. Hunter was elected to the Board in 2007 and his term expires in December 2011.
